Wow, it's been a bit. So, long story short, I've had a trying time of things for the past couple years. Nothing totally insurmountable, but enough to definitely derail my then-plans for this site. Now that I'm (kinda) back, I'm planning to post only about a third of what I had originally intended to and then just off and on from there. Hopefully, I'll get around to doing that before Easter---keep out an eye? Thanks to everyone who's stopped by to have a look! EDIT: Well, that potential deadline certainly didn't work, now, did it? *sighs heavily* C'est la vie. Let's adjust it to 'hopefully sooner rather than later'.

Apparently, if it's not one thing with technology preventing me from posting, it's another. In a nutshell, I have to re-scan most of the stuff I was planning to post due to two of my flashdrives having been accidentally erased (an extremely long, improbable story that STILL makes me want to kill one of my coworkers, but I'm slowly getting over it. SLOWLY.) And my scanner has decided to be a pill, but the Brain Trust has it at the moment, so hopefully sometime next week. We'll see. Apart from that, real life keeps intruding on things, so my ten-fifteen minute jumps on here to go through my messages are the best I can do at the moment. Still,

Long story extremely short, I haven't had a properly working personal computer for over a year and getting the necessary fundage to get a new one has taken FOREVER because every time I reached the rough amount I needed something happened that required that fundage more than my need for a 'fun' computer, especially since I could still use my not-properly working computer to do things like check and send email and do websearches (kinda---it depended on how that computer was feeling that day, and there were times it wouldn't do nothin' for me). But now I got me a shiny new computer, and I hope to start uploading things again in a week or two. I'
